Function:         FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE through the following programs:  Family Independence Program, Food Assistance Program, Medical Assistance (Medicaid, County Hospitalization, State Medical), State Disability Assistance, State Emergency Relief (emergency heat, utilities, food, shelter, etc.), Day Care.

Services:         SOCIAL SERVICES:  Services to recipients of public assistance or other income eligible individuals in a helping relationship to maximize their ability to become self-sufficient or self-supporting.

ADULT SERVICES:  Self-care (assistance in own home), Non-nursing personal care, Meal preparation, Household maintenance, Home management (budgeting, etc), Alternate Care, Coordinate and assist in placement in alternative living situation such as adult foster home, etc.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES:  Foster home licensing and supervision.  Care and supervision provided for court adjudicated children (delinquent or neglected) as requested by the court.  This includes foster care and institutional placement. 

PROTECTIVE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN:  24 hour answering service: 354-4764 responsible to immediately investigate any reports of suspected abuse or neglect of children; assure that children are protected from physical or emotional harm and that parents are assisted, where possible, to function independently in providing care for their children.

VOLUNTEER SERVICES:  Volunteers engaged in assisting clients resolve problems.

                        Rogers City.

Meetings:       Grief support groups for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. Please
