Online Loan Application Process
(READ COMPLETELY)
How to Apply:
The federal regulations governing financial aid require that all
first-time Stafford Loan borrowers complete an Entrance Counseling
session. The purpose of this requirement is to provide you
with information about the Federal Stafford Loan program before you
commit to borrowing.
Entrance Counseling
Directions:
At Alpena Community College, students interested in borrowing
under the Federal Stafford Loan program may complete the Entrance
Counseling session online. Simply visit the link below, enter
the required information and select "Entrance Counseling" as a
first-time borrower. The entire session will take about 10-15
minutes to complete.
At the conclusion of the session, you will be presented with a
confirmation screen indicating that you have completed the Entrance
Counseling requirement. Please print this page for your
records. An electronic message will be sent directly to the
Financial Aid Office indicating that you have completed this
requirement. Please allow 24-48 hours for us to process the
confirmation.
First Time Borrowers:
Step #2 requires you to begin
the Online Loan Application Process. Once you have completed the
Online Loan Application, please complete Step #3 - ACC's Loan Amount Request
Form and return the form to ACC's Financial Aid Office.

Online Loan Exit Counseling

To be considered for student financial aid, an applicant must be
entering an eligible degree or certificate program and also have completed
the application
process.
