Computer Information Systems and Network Administration

Welcome
to the Alpena Community College (ACC) program page for Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Network Administration (NA).

Our program provides students with the resources necessary to start a career in the exciting world of Information Technology (IT). If you're already working in IT, look at our course offerings. We have a variety of classes designed to meet current industry trends.

Specifically students will be prepared for the A+, Network+, MCTS, and MCP certifications.

The future of the CIS and NA Programs
Beginning in August of 2008 the CIS and NA programs are going to be reassessed. A complete analysis of the program outcomes and a survey of student objectives and employer needs will be taken. The input gathered from this task will be utilized to update the program to the new Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and general IT trends.
If you have ideas or would like to discuss your experience in the program, let Dan know.
