Class Registration
Students can register at either location for classes at either campus (Alpena and Huron Shores Campus Locations). Summer classes have a variety of start and end dates; please carefully check the class listings for course start and end dates.

Most Summer Semester 2008 courses start May 19 or June 30!
Most Fall Semester 2008 courses start August 25!

SUMMER 2008 EARLY REGISTRATION
Alpena Campus: Begins Monday, March 31, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Oscoda Campus: Begins Monday, March 31, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuition due at time of registration.

FALL 2008 EARLY REGISTRATION
Alpena Campus: Begins Monday, March 31, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Oscoda Campus: Begins Monday, March 31, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Early registration ends August 8.
Tuition due August 8.

FALL 2008 MID-SUMMER REGISTRATION
July 15-17.
Tuition due August 8.

FALL 2008 FRESHMAN ORIENTATION & REGISTRATION
Orientation: Monday, August 18
Advising and Registration: Tuesday, August 19
Tuition due at time of registration.

FALL 2008 CENTRAL REGISTRATION
August 20-21, 2008.
Tuition due at time of registration.

REGISTRATION DIRECTIONS

1. Meet with your academic advisor to arrange your schedule of classes. Obtain your advisor's signature on the completed registration form. Advisor's signature is required for students with 9 or more credit hours or if your schedule includes English or Math courses. Please Note: Students need to arrange their advising time with their academic advisors during their office hours. Take advantage of the early enrollment period.
2. Return your completed registration form to the Campus Services Office (Van Lare Hall, room 108) for processing.
   Students with a “financial obligation” will not be allowed to register until the obligation is cleared.

PAYMENT
Payment is by check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or financial aid at the time of registration. Michigan Merit/Michigan Promise Award recipients must present at the time of registration a copy of their certification showing ACC as the receiving institution. On-line credit card payments are now accepted through WebAdvisor.

Cash is accepted at the Alpena Campus; however, no cash payments are accepted at the Huron Shores Campus. Your cooperation is appreciated.

TUITION REFUND POLICY:
Full refund (100%) of all tuition paid will be issued if a Drop/Add Form is processed and given to the Campus Services Office (Van Lare Hall 108) in Alpena or the Huron Shores Campus Office at Oscoda by the proper date. Enrollment and refund dates vary for courses that end before or extend past the regularly scheduled periods. Contact the Campus Services Office (108 VLH) or the Huron Shores Campus Office for enrollment and refund deadlines.

Please Note: The enrollment and refund period varies for courses shorter than the regular 15-week semester. Notations appear with such courses in the listing of classes. Please contact the Alpena Campus Services Office (Van Lare Hall 108) or the ACC Huron Shores Campus office in Oscoda for enrollment and refund deadlines of such courses.

Registration Policies:

Registration for classes takes place before the start of each semester; dates and times are published in the semester schedule and advertised. New student orientation is held to assist first-time students with the registration process and academic advising. Consult the semester schedule or contact the Campus Services Office on the Alpena Campus or the Huron Shores Campus Office, Oscoda.
